Launched in September 2020, The Game Plan is Volleyball England's ambitious new 10-year strategy, which represents a shift in direction. As with any National Governing Body, we have a responsibility to lead the continued development of the sport. However, to achieve this, we want to work more collaboratively with our clubs and members.
Volleyball England is responsible for the development, promotion and delivery of Volleyball across England. It was founded in 1972 as the English Volleyball Association (EVA), replacing the Amateur Volleyball Association of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which itself was established in 1955.

Volleyball England Foundation Finance, Strategy and Risk This Sub-Group has delegated powers from the Board to implement actions and initiatives in support of the Organisation's strategy and to oversee finance matters, ensure the adequacy of the Organisation's financial reporting and internal controls and maintain the risk register.
Clubs, volleyball pathways and a suite of enhanced products and services are at the heart of Volleyball England’s new 10-year strategy to strengthen the sport in this country. Launched on Monday, 14 th September, ‘The Game Plan’ aims to shape the National Governing Body (NGB) into an organisation that is better connected to the volleyball community, more commercially savvy and more innovative.

Sport Structures in conjunction with its business partner Goodform supported Volleyball England in the development of their commercial strategy. Approach Sport Structures carried out elements of auditing of the sport in relation to the potential for development of commercial opportunities with the National League and within local volleyball.
